Trophy was held
September 18-19, 2000 at the Wilmington Country Club. The weather was
unkind on day two, but most of the games were finished. Result: A win
for the East.

||In November, 1999 - the
weekend before Thanksgiving - California played against Arizona in the
annual match - the "Calzona" - and

visited the west coast of the USA and played the biennial Solomon
Trophy match against the United States at the Sonoma-Cutrer Croquet
Club at the excellent vineyards of the same name - see Sonoma-Cutrer
