The Prentis
Trophy was held
September 18-19, 2000 at the Wilmington Country Club. The weather was
unkind on day two, but most of the games were finished. Result: A win
for the East.

In November, 1999 - the
weekend before Thanksgiving - California played against Arizona in the
annual match - the "Calzona" - and
won by a whisker in the dark on the Sunday. Full report on Croquet

In May 1999 the Great Britain Team
visited the west coast of the USA and played the biennial Solomon
Trophy match against the United States at the Sonoma-Cutrer Croquet
Club at the excellent vineyards of the same name - see Sonoma-Cutrer
